Our favourite day of the week, Sundays are all about relaxation at Alban's Well. Join us for piled-high plates of traditional British roasts, with free-flowing gravy, an abundance of yorkies and tender cuts of meat. Not to mention, all the trimmings and a wide range of wines paired perfectly with each dish.

Nestled in the heart of St Albans, you can find us a short 10-minute walk from The Cathedral & Abbey of Saint Albans and a 5-minute walk from the St Albans Clock Tower. Our pub welcomes you with an open kitchen, serving brunch, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week and classic roasts on Sundays.

On the bar, you’ll find a wide selection of beers, cask ales and a spirit selection for all to enjoy – take a peek in our Hawking’s bar to find your favourite tipple. We’re home to a fantastic list of new and old world wines and adventurous cocktails to toast with on all occasions.

January Set Menu

Our January Set Menu is a celebration of mid-winter seasonality, showcasing some of our favourite winter produce from across the UK. Featuring West Country Beef, Bedlam Farm Heritage Squash, Lincolnshire Brussel Tops and South Coast Mussels (to name a few!) it’s available on weekdays from 6th – 31st Jan. With two courses for £18 or three courses for £22 (go on… treat yourself to a pud) you shouldn’t need further excuse to get yourself to the pub.
